Charlie Grappone founded Vinylmania in the early eighties , and sold his pressings to begin with via his own store in NY , Vinylmania.
Some of it's better know releases include works from Larry Levan , Arthur Baker , Eleonore Mills , Todd Terry , and amongst many more.
At one point there was a Vinylmania store uptown *on Colombus ave around 72nd , and one downtown
on Carmine street in NY NY.
Vinylmania Store on Carmine Street closed it's store doors in March 2007. |
